• **Pros**: Long weekend, solid discounts, less crowded
• **Cons**: Not as deep as Diwali

Diwali Sale (October-November)

• **Duration**: 6-10 days usually
• **Maximum discount**: 50-70%
• **Best for**: Everything. Literally every category.
• **Pros**: Deepest discounts of the year. Maximum variety. Best bank offers.
• **Cons**: Insanely crowded. Things sell out fast.

The Verdict

**Diwali wins for discounts.** It's not even close. The deals are deeper and the bank offers are better. If you can only pick one sale to shop, wait for Diwali.

**Republic Day isn't bad though** — it's great for starting the year with new gadgets. Just don't expect Diwali-level deals.

My approach: buy phones and appliances at Diwali. Use Republic Day for things I need sooner.
